  • Robotics

    Precision Machining of Robotic Mounting Plates

    • Challenge

      The customer required complex steel mounting plates with deep pockets, tiered surfaces, and many precision holes. Keeping positional accuracy and preventing distortion in thin areas was the main challenge.

    • Solution

      We used 5-axis milling with rigid fixturing, applied controlled step-down cuts to protect thin walls, and verified all hole locations with CMM to ensure proper alignment and consistent quality.

    High-Volume Machining of Cylindrical Housings

    • Challenge

      The customer needed a large batch of precision cylindrical housings with multiple side openings, tight tolerances, and a uniform reflective finish. Ensuring dimensional stability across hundreds of identical parts was the key challenge.

      We used multi-station CNC turning and milling, optimized toolpaths to prevent deformation around the cutout windows, and added fine finishing passes for consistent surface quality. Critical dimensions were verified with CMM to ensure repeatability.

      The customer needed thousands of identical metal housings with tight tolerances and mirror-finish surfaces. Any deviation would impact assembly accuracy and vibration stability.

      RuoChen used multi-station CNC turning centers, optimized the tooling cycle, and applied automated optical inspection to ensure high repeatability, stable dimensions, and consistent surface quality across every batch.

  • Aerospace

    Aerospace Brackets with Complex Internal Geometry

    • Challenge

      The aerospace customer needed lightweight aluminum brackets featuring internal pockets, thin walls, and multiple mounting points—very sensitive to deformation.

    • Solution

      We used 5-axis machining with vibration-controlled fixturing and performed step-down toolpaths to maintain structural stability. All parts were verified with CMM inspection.

  • Semiconductor

    Semiconductor Vacuum Chamber Components

    • Challenge

      The challenge was to machine ultra-flat sealing surfaces and extremely smooth inner cavities while adhering to strict contamination requirements.

    • Solution

      We applied ultra-fine finishing, controlled micro-cutting parameters, and clean-room packaging. Each component passed vacuum leakage and dimensional reliability tests.
